About: Lives Lived Well - Logan Family Recovery

I came to LFR a few months ago and was scared and didn't know what was going to happen... I felt like I was the only one.

How I was feeling was so low in life but over time I came to love the place, got to meet new people with the same problems as me. The classes helped so much and showed me how to get through my addiction and understand it so much more. The units at LFR are lovely and make you feel at home... the staff I interacted with are so understanding and very nice, always up for a chat and made me feel right at home even though I was not.

LFR became my second home and if it was not for this place I believe I wouldn't be here today. I was so happy that one of my children could come to program with me and my other child be able to visit me during school holidays. I thank LFR so much for helping me find my ability to live again.

Hello saturnwh37,

Thank you for sharing some of your experiences of staying at Lives Lived Well's Logan Family Recovery. Well done for persisting through the scared and 'so low' feelings and coming to see the units as your second home. That is a big transition.

Having the time and space to explore your addiction and to understand it is such an important part of any recovery program. The support of the staff and the interaction with others on the program seem to have been a big part of your progress as well.

The option to have one of your children with you and for others to visit helps you to know they are in a good space enables you to concentrate on what you need to do. It is great you have refound your ability to live.
