"Could not fault any aspect of my care"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department Bunbury Hospital / Surgical Ward

I had an unexpected need to be admitted to Bunbury Hospital lately. From start to finish the care that I received was second to none. The ED medical staff were excellent. They explained everything, gave me test results as they arrived in, kept me up to date on everything. The nursing staff that attended to me were so kind, compassionate and reassuring. I really can’t commend them enough.    

I then needed an after hours theatre trip which was daunting. From the anaesthetic staff, nursing and the wonderful surgical team I really cannot say enough about them. Nikhil and his on-call team were superb. From providing an unexpected diagnosis to quick morning discharge the following day. Very very much appreciated. I'd also like to give a big Thank You to Jenny the After Hours Manager and Natalie From ED for getting me ready for theatre. You two helped calm the frayed nerves. Thanks!

My care post op on the Surgical Ward was provided by the night Nurse team on a very busy ward. Kelly made sure I was pain-free and comfortable and met my every need.

In my opinion, Bunbury and South West people should be assured that the Bunbury Hospital is an excellent Healthcare facility. It does get very busy with presentations from time to time however I believe I really could not fault any aspect of my care. The healthcare team working there should be very proud. Well done!
