(as the patient),

I recently birthed my first child through the Community Midwifery Program in Perth and it was the most wonderful experience. My midwife, Sarah, was fantastic from the start. We were able to build a great relationship due to the continuity of care of the program. I was also able to birth at home in a safe way due to the program.

We needed to transfer to hospital and Sarah managed that perfectly for us. The care we then received at King Edwards Memorial Hospital was also fantastic. That story can be read here.

I am extremely pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience with our Community Midwifery Program (CMP). We pride ourselves in protecting, promoting and supporting normal birth and we are extremely proud of our staff for providing such a high level of care throughout the pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatally. I am so glad to hear that the care provided to you has met your expectations.
