"Helpful volunteers at FSH"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital

(as a friend),

My spouse and I recently accompanied a friend who underwent a day procedure at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH). We travelled from the country for the day and were somewhat overwhelmed by the size of the FSH complex.

We were most grateful for the assistance of the FSH volunteers working in the main entrance hall. They helped us reach our destination with a minimum of fuss.

Particular thanks to Mike, who very quickly ascertained that, as we walked through the main entrance door, that we didn't have a clue what to do next. And after a friendly greeting, subsequently escorted us through to the day unit.

The volunteer team are a great asset to the hospital.

Dear romeokg45,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent visit.

I am heartened to read your positive comments in regards to the FSH Volunteers. I recognise the difficulty and uncertainty you face when attending such a large organisation, especially when attending from the country. The FSH Volunteer Service is a valued asset and we all appreciate the assistance they provide to patients and visitors.

I have circulated your feedback to the team and I will ensure that I speak with Mike directly to enable him to understand the positive impact he had on your recent visit.

Thank you again and should you have any further feedback please don’t hesitate in letting us know.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
