"Lack of follow-up investigation"

Twice now I have presented to ED after two unrelated falls. I was admitted a few days after the last event because I was still severely concussed and hadn’t had any investigations. I had to take myself back to the hospital each time.

Each time I have had to ask for follow up investigations and take responsibility for my ongoing care. (xrays, scan, pain relief and physio therapy).

I feel that I cannot trust these health professionals to take care with diagnosis and treatment.

I dread the day when I am unable to ask for the care that I need. I feel that I could possibly die without the help I need at the time.
