"My seating issues with my Wheelchair"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / PB1W - General Rehabilitation Unit

(as the patient),

I'm a Paraplegic and since one year I am suffering with heterotopic ossification on both my hips because of which, I was not able to sit properly and comfortably on my 10 year old wheelchair. Occupational Therapist team at Seating clinic of POW Hospital helped me a lot by modifying my chair and seating arrangements which helped me to some extent. They did my seating assessment and organised for me, to try various types of wheelchairs and helped me to select the best and appropriate New Wheelchair.

I'm very thankful to OT Ms. Karin and Team at Seating clinic of POW Hospital, who are very cooperatively helping me with my situation and guiding me through various ways to solve and overcome my seating issues.
