My teenage child came into Three Springs Hospital and needed to be seen by the ETS doctor. It was not an emergency but considering our local GP service is not open at this time, we either had to present or drive 150km to Geraldton.
The nurse, Alanna, was so friendly and professional. She took care to treat my child as a young person and responsible for their own health, yet still checked with me as their parent to ensure that my child had all the information that was needed.
Her manner was so gentle and kind, and her knowledge was very good. She made both my child and myself feel at ease, and even though our presenting complaint was not an emergency, she still took the time and care to make sure that my child was treated as important.
We are very lucky to have this service in town to access when we live so far away from any other services.
