"My Midwife look after me really well"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I give birth at King Edward Memorial Hospital at the end of last year. My Midwife, Sarah, look after me really well, it was Midwife group 4.

My Midwife, Sarah, and my student Midwife, Vanessa, took care of me exceptionally well with respect and gentleness. I feel comfortable all the time.

Their encouragement and professionalism made my labour experience so smooth, the whole process was truly amazing. Thank you and cannot possibly say that enough.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and congratulations on the birth of your new baby! It is heartening to read that you received such a high standard of care, treatment and support from the staff who guided you through your pregnancy and birthing journey.

The Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) is proud of the level of commitment our Midwifery Group Practice 4 (MGP4) team bring to their roles and they are always delighted to receive recognition such as yours from patients and their families. WNHS would certainly like to expand the MGP service for our families in the future as our numbers grow so that more women in the community can access care from the same small group of midwives for the duration of their pregnancy, labour and birth and in the postnatal period.

Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience with WNHS. I will be sure to send on your kind words to Sarah, Vanessa and all staff involved.
