"Paediatric care at emerg"

About: Angliss Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My child fell from their bike recently, a laceration of the knee requiring 3 stitches.

I was delighted to receive exceptional customer service from the triage nurse. I was equally delighted by the assistance of Julie in the Paediatric emerg who kept my child calm and occupied while getting the procedure.

Under such trying conditions, they really are heroes in my eyes.

Dear chassiskh65,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience when taking your child to the Emergency Department at Eastern Health's Angliss Hospital.

These can be really challenging for parent and child and I was so pleased to read your experience was a positive one. I can see through your experience the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility clearly displayed by both the triage nurse and also Julie in the Paediatric area.

It will give me great pleasure to share your experience with them and their manager so they can see the impact they have had on both you and your child's experience.

I trust the wound is healing well and your child's bike is ready, willing and able!

Take care and best wishes

David
