I started addiction in my teenage years, smoking cigarettes and marijuana with my school mates. It led to an addiction with ice. I quit my job after two and a half years. Started hanging with the wrong crowd, was lying to my family and closest friend. I got my license and started to become the designated driver even though I was heavily under the influence, it was all for fun until my sibling committed suicide a few years ago. I was 3 years into heavy addiction and dependency on drugs, I started to isolate myself and developed severe depression and anxiety. I wanted to end my own life, trapped in this vicious cycle of addiction until I was admitted into treatment at Elouera women’s program a few months ago.
The Elouera women’s program saved my life. I felt the staff took my addiction and road to recovery extremely seriously and they met all my needs down to making sure I got all the inspirational quotes I needed. Their passion and caring nature inspired me from my first week that I am worthy of a sober, clean lifestyle and that no one should ever have to walk the path of recovery alone. I am so grateful for their support and for their time, they have given me a second chance at life. I would recommend the Elouera women’s program to anyone with 110% confidence that it will change your life for the better.
