(as a parent/guardian),

We have had 3 days of visiting the eye hospital for my friend to have cataracts surgery. The first to have all the examinations and measuring of their eyes. My friend's key worker and I, their guardian, attended all sessions.

The 2 days when my friend had their operations, again, we were both there.  At all times, all the staff, from the people at the desk to the Dr., we were treated with respect and kindness. Everything was explained to us and also to my friend.

We are all happy to give our thanks to the staff at the eye hospital, their standard of care is very high.

Yes my friend has recovered and has returned to work. She made the comment 'I can see better so I can work harder, make more money and go to trip to Canberra next March'.
