My friend had a stroke recently and is perfectly fine. However, they are in the recovery ward and they can’t read, but they are perfectly capable of walking around. It’s just that they can’t read the signs and are unable to find their way around. I also feel like this ward is virtually underground – just 4 walls and opaque windows which makes it very boring. My suggestion is that the recovery ward should be located on the top floor or level that has a view, either some greenery or ocean view which I’m sure will assist with the patient’s recovery, rather than being underground.
Other than that, they have been well looked after, the clinical care has been fantastic.
