I feel very lucky to have a great treatment facilitator (TF) called Branca. Branca has been supporting me thoroughly throughout my whole stay here, she's been kind compassionate and caring from the moment I got here. I truly feel that she's helped me perceive the program and always given me a friendly ear to listen when I've needed a chat. I took a lot away from the classes and although I didn't know too much about cognitive behavioural therapy, I learned a fair bit form the hands-on lessons and the professional teaching styles of the TF's.
John's classes were particularly useful and practical. I was here for 2 months for alcohol and although at times I struggled with boredom and my own demons, I feel that I've come out a better person and feel ready to face whatever the world throws at me. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of the staff for their untiring efforts and to always remain professional and caring, which I feel must be a hard task sometimes as I believe people in early recovery can be a tad irritable and unpredictable at times.
I've booked into getting into another rehab facility as I feel like the program wasn't quite long enough but in my opinion, it is good for highly functioning people that need to go back to work and get their lives on track. Although my experience was good here, I hope this is the last time I will be in a rehab facilitation as I have much to accomplish and with the right support I hope to see people again, never in a setting like this.
