About: Margaret River Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I got hospitalised due to a severe herniation disc. In the beginning, we didn't know what exactly I had, but the team did everything to take care of me in the most careful and professional way.

They provide me with not only medical support but also psychological support. I am travelling around Australia alone and I come from Italy, so being in a situation like this and receiving this superb treatment and attention, made me feel never alone and in good hands.

The food was outstanding compare to a normal hospital.

Many thanks to Doctor Cathy and all the amazing nurses and the rest of the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion regarding your experience at Margaret River Hospital.

We strive to create a compassionate workplace which in turn has a positive impact on our patients and in your case, this is very evident.

It must have been difficult to feel so far away from home and be hospitalised, but to hear that you were looked after in every aspect of your care is very heartening.

I will take great pleasure in posting your comments on our staff notice board and ensure that not only the Doctors and Nurses see it, but also the cooks!
