We had our baby boy in early February with midwives Courtney, Mary and Jess. We had student midwife, Sammy, and obstetrician, Dr Gadd. We were with the team for 15 hours in the labour room and on the ward afterwards. I cannot speak higher of the service we received from the team.
Our birth plan didn’t go to plan but we were so thankful staff took the time to educate us and allow us to decide on a new plan to deliver a happy and healthy baby.
It was a textbook-tricky delivery made safe by highly competent staff. After leaving hospital we had Zita and Anne on the home visiting midwife service for 5 days. They were so informative and patient with all our questions. We really felt like they took their time to make sure we felt as confident and comfortable as first-time parents could feel. It was such a valued service to us.
Highly skilled staff and excellent service. Such a positive experience.
