"Bad experience"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Outpatient Department (Eyes & General)

(as a service user),

A particular Dr who works under another Dr in the cornea clinic has, I felt, shown me and my spouse no sign of professionalism or duty of care towards patients. In my opinion, they are rude, aggressive, and not fully understanding what they are saying to patients. I am afraid they are working in the public sector, to be honest. As I saw them recently, I feel they demonstrate to be heartless, uncaring, and insensitive towards my difficulties and sufferings. Really difficult to understand how someone like this, has been selected to represent our medical services. I believe there are many great Dr and front lines professionals, in my opinion, this particular Dr certainly does not belong to this category.

I am sorry to hear of your experience with a Dr who is currently working within the Cornea Clinic. Thank you for taking the time to write this. People who come to our service should be treated kindly, respectfully, and compassionately. There is no place for rudeness and I would very much like to get some detail so that we can make sure this doesn't happen again. I am very sorry that you had this experience and I would like to make sure we can avoid such occurrences in the future.
