"Margaret Hubery House - Rossmoyne"

My mother and father are residents at this beautiful, Catholic retirement home.

To say that we have been delighted with their level of care would be a profound understatement.

The staff at this home genuinely care for each and every resident entrusted to their care.  They are willing to go "above and beyond", time and time again.

In my experience, their love and dedication extends also to the family of residents.

I live over 400km from Margaret Hubery, but travel up every month to see my parents.

On my last visit, we experienced mechanical difficulties with our car, which meant we had to park the 4WD and trailer in Margaret Hubery bays (because we could not shift them) until help arrived.

The staff (Jacqui and Kristy) not only cleared the temporary parking, but offered myself and my two young sons every possible assistance while we waited for help to arrive.

These beautiful ladies, while caring for everybody else also, managed to find time to check we were okay, and brought us refreshments (and even a couple of muffins, chips and a drink for the young fellows, who had not eaten for a while, and had longer to wait).

The goodness, kindness and genuine concern demonstrated by the staff at Margaret Hubery is something very rare to find these days.  I have been touched by it so many times.

It is coupled with efficiency, professionalism, and a wonderful attention to detail which blesses many aspects of my parents' lives.

As I was leaving, Mum was upset - knowing she would not see us all for another month.

Tom, the super-nurse, and Willy, a darling gentleman who seems to help with everything, waited with her so she could wave us off.  I had to re-attach the trailer, settle in the children, and mobilize the whole show, so it took a little while, but both of them were patient and kind.  True gentleman.

Parting is always difficult, but it brings me such peace to know that my parents are in safe, caring hands.

Complements must also go to Jane, who manages Margaret Hubery with such care and diligence.  Jane seems to have a gift when it comes to finding the perfect people for each position, and she has done it time and time again.  It seems that every member of staff has a special dedication to the people under their care.  It is a skill to consistently choose the right people for the job.  

The individual attention and care Jane shows each patient - despite all of her management responsibilities - is beautiful to see.

I would recommend Margaret Hubery to absolutely everyone - and I do.
