Had day surgery recently (general anaesthetic) and couldn’t fault any part of my experience. From the moment I engaged with the Surgical Services Reception, the friendliness, easing welcoming and efficiency was obvious.   From that point on, every Nurse, Specialist and Surgical Team member I engaged with was exactly the same - friendly (welcoming and easy), professional (and knowledgeable and efficient) and dedicated to good and genuine care.

It felt like everyone loved their job, took pride in their work and made sure the patient was taken well care of. I came out having enjoyed the whole experience, and would have no hesitation having any day surgery via the Surgical Services area.

I have shared your post with the surgical services team who were really blown away by your kind words. They conceded that they do indeed love their jobs, as you suggested, and it is lovely to hear that this shows in the care that they deliver.

We are very lucky to have such a kind, professional and caring team here at Karratha and it is so important for their exceptional care to be acknowledged as it supports and drives them to continue their hard work, knowing that they are on the right track and are appreciated.
