"Hand Injury"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son injured his hand during a hockey training session. He was in enough pain for me to take him to the Sydney Hospital Emergency Department late evening for review and Xray.

Luckily the Xray department was still staffed, my son was seen very quickly, all staff we saw were friendly (Dr Mark, Nurse Sherry who triaged) and we were home in no time at all and reassured there were no broken bones.

Thank you to all.

Dear waterzw43,

It is reassuring to know your son was able to have peace of mind regarding this hand injury. Thank you for your acknowledgment to the staff, Dr Mark and Nurse Sherry, and all the best for your son’s hockey season (hopefully an injury-free season).

Kind regards,

Carolyn
