Thank God for leading me to midwives at MGP5. With their warm hearts they welcomed me and cared for me holistically. I felt comfortable enough to be myself and share anything that concerned me, and I received help and beyond that, I didn't feel judged.
The Midwives and Students in their teamwork worked so diligently and would flag any matters of concern and help immediately.
For instance, during my labour and delivery, I was given the best moral and physical support (best support system in conjunction with my 2 friends) as I haven't got my parents/family in the country.
I was well reassured and looked after, which moves me to this second as I write this. My Chief Midwife and others stepped in on that night and worked wholeheartedly, I don't even think they went out on their breaks. My Midwife constantly offered various methods to ease my pain during contractions and even taught my support people how they would massage my back to ease my pain.
To be honest, I would write a journal praising their work and explaining my experience since I was referred there but this space isn't enough.
I am so grateful and may God bless their work.
