"Grateful"

About: Karratha Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I would like to say thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses at KHC for looking after me in my time of need in ED and on the ward. The nurse that triaged me and listened to my story were caring and kind and got me seen by the doctors ASAP. My ED Dr, Dr Nicole and her team kept me informed, comfortable and feeling safe while I waited for tests. Despite a stressful environment, they were all warm and cheery. I feel the team were open and transparent with me every step of the way and although they weren’t able to ‘fix’ my condition rurally, did all they could to manage my pain, seek specialist advice and support me to get to Perth for ongoing care.

Thank you for supporting me through a scary and stressful time!

Dear Abc123,

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. I am delighted to hear that you felt cared for and were made comfortable during your treatment here at Karratha Health Campus.

We are lucky to have such skilled and experienced staff whose focus is on keeping patients informed and cared for.

Your feedback and acknowledgement is very valuable – it emphasises what staff are doing right as well as encouraging them to continue with their hard work.

Thank you for taking the time to post and we wish you a healthy recovery.

Kind regards,

James Thomas
