"The birth of our second baby and the amazing team at Busselton"

Well, what more could you want!? One of the most special days of your life and you arrive at Busselton welcomed, comfortable, supported and knowing you are in the caring and safe hands of the whole team of midwives. 

Seriously, if you are not sure where to deliver your baby, this is the place. The whole event from the introduction and walk through before, to the day, and then the aftercare is sensational. 

As a husband, knowing my wife and baby was so genuinely cared for was all I wanted and wow, did we get far beyond that, even I was looked after! We were kept comfortable and informed and the team could not have done enough to support us. 

The communication, organisation and cohesion between the midwives and doctors was flawless. Even the simplest detail of everyone knowing you by name and checking in on you made the whole experience wonderful.

Milena - you are amazing! There for us from the start, with us right the way through. Your presence was ever calming and delightful. 

Claire - second times a charm! We are so glad you were there for the birth this time round after all your support with our first birth. You have a beautiful, beautiful heart.

Jan - what a saviour. Your power of observation combined with your comforting and nurturing ways made it feel like having the warmth of another mother there. 

Heather - there aren't enough words. You are just incredible. You just have a way about you, a confidence and positivity that brightens any room. We are forever grateful. 

To all of you that were with us on our journey. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Don't ever change!

To those of you responsible for the setup of this incredible wing. Do not ever change it, unless you are investing more into it and finding more of the amazing midwives that you have that make it as special as it is. I would suggest to have the menu selection on a device to save paper, update the colour of the rooms and birth suites for mood and of course investment of more team members to support. I expect you will need to make this investment as this service will bring people from far and wide.

It is your beautiful point of difference, don't ever lose it and to the others out there - learn from it because in my opinion, this is exactly how bringing a child into the world should be.
