My mum was diagnosed with cancer at Kalgoorlie Hospital in April 2020. As you would expect, this was a massive shock to our family with the added uncertainty that COVID had already brought to everyone's lives. From the very beginning, the care she has been provided from the surgical team, the medical and surgical wards, emergency department and mostly from the outpatient cancer care team has been attentive, caring and of an incredible standard. Her care has been carefully coordinated and has run smoothly from the very beginning thanks to the dedication of the teams that care for her. Her care remains ongoing but I thought it was time for a small message of gratitude, to everyone who she has crossed paths with that has and continues to support us through very difficult time.
