"Emergency Dept waiting time for chest pain"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented to the ED with chest pains and dizziness as advised by my dietician as I have started treatment for an eating disorder.

After waiting for 2 1/2 hours I came home. Had still not been seen and people going in that came in after myself. I honestly felt like my chest pains meant nothing so I left and went home to try to get rest instead.

In my opinion, this is so poor for someone going in for heart pain and not being seen straight away all because my heart looked at a normal rate when triaged. I believe this is very very poor management of the ED and what patients are seen and when.
