We would like to express our gratitude for the care given to our son over 6 cycles of chemo at Charlie’s for NHL.

Our son had a birthday a few days ago and has returned to full time work last week after a rather harrowing few months of diagnosis, chemo, stopped work, lost both his grandmothers and his partner moved on!

I believe the nursing staff in this department have phenomenal compassion, empathy and personalities! In our experience their knowledge was shared with us (both clinicians), and the care of us as a family was exceptional. We will possibly encounter the staff again, however fingers crossed our son will be in remission for a long time.

We would like to nominate the nurses for the Excellence Award!

Thank you for sharing your experience of the staff who provided your son with treatment for Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

It is wonderful to hear about the compassion, empathy and exceptional care received from the clinicians. The nurses in particular will be very pleased about you wanting to nominate them for the Excellence Award.

Your son has really been through a very tough time with all the losses he experienced while receiving chemotherapy treatment and I am sure that your support and love has helped him through some dark days.

Thank you once again and I wish you and your son good health in the future.
