"Emergency Visit"

About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I was sent to the hospital when I took my 2 year old daughter to the doctor. She had bronchiolitis. I felt the hospital staff treated us very well, and were great. I felt they were considerate of my daughter who was very scared of the doctors and nurses, and our short stay went very well. Many thanks!

Dear gammakt68,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share the story of your little daughter’s experience of the Emergency Department on the Albany Health Campus. The team across the campus always aim to make our patients and their families and carers as comfortable and secure as possible so it is great for us to hear this from you. If it is any consolation emergency departments can be scary places for adults as well as children so we do our best to demystify the situation.

We hope you daughter is well on the way to a full recovery.

With best wishes,

John Van Der Post

Director Emergency Medicine

Albany Health Campus
