"Sub-acute care"

About: Northam Health Service / Sub-Acute Services

(as the patient),

I was in the sub-acute ward learning from the physiotherapist (aka Joel) who spent some time with me as a professional. No pain no gain but please after the workout was another workout.

As I tried to overcome the pain this Occupational Therapist came over with activities. All good but don't pick weeds with insects for the flower arrangement before eating lunch and photographer's missing half my head.

Doctors and nurses outstanding which comes to my attention - nurse Rochelle, a bright and bubbly personality willing, I believe, to not only care for patients but her co-workers too! She kind of reminds of my drill instructor. God Bless.

Dear Gunna,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent admission to Northam Hospital Sub Acute ward.

I trust the exercises you were provided aided your recovery.

Thank you for your suggestions on some improvements that will help patients gain an extra positive experience in their rehabilitation. I have passed these on to the team for consideration when reviewing the programs. It is important that we provide patients with the opportunity to discuss their rehabilitation program with their therapists and raise any concerns.

I am pleased to hear that you found our doctors and nurses provided you with an outstanding level of care and attention and I will have the pleasure of passing your feedback on to them.

Best wishes

Trenton Greive
