My first visit I saw a lovely lady and was diagnosed with macular degeneration. Had an injection and told I would need another in a few weeks. Put my appointment slip in, returned at that time, saw another Dr but can't remember their name. Saying I had 2 choices to have the injection or not to have it, saying most people don't have the injection and may never have to return again. I was so confused and stressed as I have no sight in my left so I really have to look after my right eye then.
I thought, I don't think that's right. I decided to have the injection, I left with a very red eye and a tube of chlorsig and no paper for another appointment. I told the Dr that after the stroke I was put on to Rivaroxaban. A couple days later I decided to phone the clinic and they told me to come in during the early afternoon, I saw another Dr, and they told me it is a life time procedure, and explained more to me. I do not wish to see the Dr that gave me the injection. I just feel I can't trust them.
