"A special nurse"

I felt Erika was amazing in every sense of the word and I believe is a true description of what nursing staff should be.

Although I thought the majority of staff were wonderful on Parkes 5, Erika shone like the star she is.

She went above and beyond each time we crossed paths and, I feel, should be commended for her hard work and dedication to her job. Erika was warm, kind, caring and dedicated in more ways than one.

On a particular day when I was falling apart due to hearing some difficult news in regards to the decline in my mother-in-law's health conditions, she gave me the time to get my self together and was supportive and caring when I needed it the most.

I believe she is honestly a true asset to Parkes 5 and I will be eternally grateful that we were lucky enough to have her care for my mother-in-law.
