I have been drinking from a young age and smoking weed since my teenage years, then started doing meth a few years after that and now I'm in my 40s, it's that time in life to give it up.

It took a long time for myself to get any type of help things went really wrong a few years before that, my partner and I started fighting a lot. Then I got into the drug scene more than usual, that's when I split with my partner leaving my kids behind. I've been living on the streets for a few years, in that time I lost everything until I met the lovely person named Misty from lives lived well in Toowoomba. She is helping me so much and giving me the respect and kindness with honest conversations and thoughts. She help me get into rehab and my life has gotten better.

Thank you for telling us about your experience at Lives Lived Well's Toowoomba office and the support you have received from Misty (Mysti). Having someone who enables you to receive respect and kindness, and have honest conversations is such an important step in making changes in our lives. It is good to know that the work of Lives Lived Well is making a difference in your life and helping you to make decisions which enable your life to be better.

I wish you all the best in the next steps in rehab. My hope is it continues to grow the quality of life you are now experiencing.
