"Carpal Tunnel Release procedure"

I had this day procedure recently at Yarra Ranges Hospital in Lilydale. It had been delayed one month due to the cyber hack at Eastern Ranges Health but still occurred within a very reasonable 4-month wait.

I felt the hospital visit was efficiently organised and staff were also very friendly and welcoming.  

The theatre staff worked as a team and were on top of their game and as a result I felt confident that things would go well. The operation seems to have gone very well thanks to Mr Andy, my surgeon, Ben the anesthetist and all the other theatre staff, and my recovery is proceeding very well. The recovery nurse was great and relaxed and helpful and my follow-up visit to the hand therapy team at Maroondah was timely, informative and reassuring. I was also impressed that a staff member telephoned me the day after my surgery to check that I was OK.
