My doctor recommended I do cardiac rehabilitation after undergoing a triple bypass in Perth some months ago. A staff member at Albany Hospital rang a few days later to arrange a time and date to start. I feel it’s very reassuring that if needed during exercises, medical assistance is right on hand. I understand the eight-week program is tailored to meet your needs and includes cardio and strengthening exercises.
The staff were on the whole really great. I believe the only improvement to make the program more beneficial would be to have more consistency with the staff. For a period, the staff person was different each session. In my opinion, they didn’t seem very interested and nor did they offer any encouragement or discuss if anything needed to change.
I definitely recommend this program.
