"Safe place to recover"

About: Mirikai Residential Rehabilitation Facility

(as a service user),

Prior to rehab I was living an unmanageable wreckless lifestyle, I was mentally and physically unwell. 

Throughout my experience at Mirikai I was able to meet some incredibly caring and supportive training facilitators (TF) and staff members. Even though I had an appointed TF, every other TF was always willing to sit down and give me their time when needed. 

I was treated with respect and compassion.

Mirikai provides a very safe place to recover.

The group sessions, program, facilities are really good. During my time at Mirikai I got my confidence back and have learnt to become a healthy happy person again. This has changed my life and I will be forever grateful for this place.

Thank you for your comments about your experience while attending Lives Lived Well's Mirikai Rehabilitation Program.

It is great to hear you found it a very safe place where you were treated with respect, care and compassion, and that you felt supported by all the staff. The end result for you has been restored confidence and feeling a healthy happy person again. For this to happen you have also had the courage to engage in the program and do the work to bring about these changes.
