I came to Wunya dealing with Alcohol Addiction, PTSD and Panic attacks. I had been trying for several years to overcome this by myself with some success, however alcohol relapses due to panic was still a major problem in my quality of life.

During my time at Wunya, through the personal counselling and evidence-based modules of learning, I have managed to overcome these last hurdles that would not have been possible without this type of residential rehabilitation.

I have developed a new relationship with myself and a deep understanding of the functioning of my brain in regards to Alcoholism, PTSD and Panic. It was a daunting prospect to come to a residential rehab and I was very nervous in the time leading up to my admission. However upon arriving my fears were immediately gone when I meet the extremely experienced, welcoming and positive staff and a community of people at various stages of their healing process who were very keen to help me also. I would highly recommend anyone dealing with any emotional issue in connection with substance use make use of this amazing resource.
