I was fortunate enough to be supported through my pregnancy by the lovely midwives in MGP5. As this was my first pregnancy, I definitely had some anxiety around pregnancy, labour and birth but seeing my midwives and their calm, cool, collected and friendly approach soon put my mind at ease. I always looked forward to my midwife appointments and can honestly say they were one of the highlights of my pregnancy and played such a special part in shedding a positive light on my pregnancy journey. I was fortunate enough to be supported with a few different midwives from the team and always felt well cared for and listened to.
I was so grateful for the support I received during and after the birth of my daughter, with thorough home visits and lots of follow up support in those daunting first few days. I am so thankful and appreciative of the care I received during my time at KEMH, it is something I would definitely recommend and look forward to going through the Midwifery group practice program for any future pregnancies.
