"Child Health Nurse"

About: Child and Adolescent Community Health

(as a parent/guardian),

I would tell any parents to avoid the child health nurse that I saw at all costs. In my opinion, this person is very cold and condescending, tries to make you feel stupid and second guess yourself, and knows nothing. I believe they give bad and incorrect information regarding babies and make you feel stupid. In my opinion, lazy and overall not a nice nurse.

Dear melonbs53,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on Care Opinion. Feedback such as yours is important as it allows us to improve the service we provide for children and their families.

Compassion, Respect, Excellence and Accountability are four of our Health Service’s core values and staff are expected to act in accordance with these values at all times. I apologise if that has not been your experience.

To help us to fully understand what has happened and to ensure we are able to adequately address your concerns, it would be most helpful if you could contact the Consumer Engagement Team by calling (08) 6456 0032 between 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday or email CAHSFeedback@health.wa.gov.au.

I hope you have been able to enjoy your time with your baby regardless of your experience, and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,
