About: Sale Hospital / Women's and Children's

(as a relative),

My wife was recently cared for by the obstetrics and Midwife teams at CGH. They did an unbelievable job at supporting her through what was a complicated final trimester. 

I would like to commend Dr. Judy and Kate (from WHIMS clinic) in particular as their support was invaluable to our family.

My name is Kim Costin and I am a Nurse Unit Manager on our Women’s & Children's Unit.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the care of your wife during her pregnancy. When complications arise in pregnancy, it can be extremely concerning and distressing to the woman and her family. It is pleasing to know that you and your family felt supported through what must have been a difficult time for you all.

As a team, we value consumer feedback as it allows us to see what we are doing well, and what areas we may need to improve on.

I know that our staff will be encouraged by your words of praise, and feel reassured knowing that they have delivered a quality of care consistent with the vision and mission of our health service.

Your feedback will be shared with Midwife Kate, Dr Judy and the rest of the team, and I will take great pleasure in thanking them both personally on your behalf.
