"Mental health care in Bunbury"

I have bipolar type 2 and BPD. I spent 2 and a half years doing dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) with James. He is the best psychologist I have ever worked with. His DBT has changed my entire life and the way I manage my BPD.

I had to come off lithium carbonate after more than ten years for other health reasons. I was treated by Dr Kevin and again had James as a case manager, it is one of the hardest things I have ever been through.

They gave me so much support and encouragement during this time I was not hospitalized, which I expected. They even had check-up calls on weekends to make sure I was safe and ok. I can't be more grateful for the help I was given by all the staff.

Before going to this public health clinic I had been involved with other public health clinics in Western Australia and had some very bad experiences. Bunbury's clinic has shown me that there are people in this field who do genuinely care. Thank you all so much.
