"Great day surgery care at Fiona Stanley hospital, Perth"

I just wanted to tell my story about the great care I received when going in for a colonoscopy recently at Fiona Stanley hospital in Murdoch, Perth. 

I arrived slightly early for my appointment and was greeted by the very friendly staff on reception.

After a short wait, I was invited into the ward and was seen quickly by the admission staff who did everything they could to make me comfortable.

This was the third or fourth time I have had this procedure as there is a high risk of bowel cancer in my family.

I have always used the public system and attended several other hospitals, but I was hugely impressed by the friendly efficiency and extremely clean and modern facilities at Fiona Stanley.

When I had the procedure, surgeon Dr Raj and anaesthetist Chris made me feel both very welcome and in safe hands, along with all the operating theatre staff.

I just wanted to let people know how grateful and appreciative I am of the great work I think they do at Fiona Stanley.
