"Eating disorder admission"

About: The Hollywood Clinic

(as a relative),

My relative admitted themselves as a voluntary patient for an eating disorder. I believe staff forgot about them at lunch and left them in their room (they weren't allowed to mobilise on their feet). I understand their NGT feed was not replaced when it ran out. I believe they weren't showered for 3 days and were also kept in their admission clothes with, I understand, no access to their belongings for the same time.

When my relative left, which I understand they were allowed to do to seek treatment elsewhere, I understand the staff called police and I believe lied on the transport form resulting in a lot of trauma for our family. In my opinion this hospital has a lot to answer for and I hope they are investigated properly for, I believe, wrongfully ordering transport forms on patients when they leave to seek treatment elsewhere.
