(as the patient),

During a routine visit to FSH, I asked the dialysis nurse, twice, if they would mind checking the wound arising from a fistula being implanted.

The nurse expressed surprise at the fact there were still stitches in the wound and indicated they should have come out ages ago.

To my disgust, they proceeded to pick out the stitches using their fingernails. No gloves. No sanitisation. 

Upon completion, they walked off, I believe picked a $2 from the floor and proceeded to attend to another patient.
