My parent had a fall and presented to ED. They were in pain, shaking and face covered in blood. I believe during this time the staff attending to her were so caring. They provided her with a warm blanket because she was shaking so much and reassured her she was going to be ok. She ended up having a fractured humerus and she was referred on to the FSH fracture clinic who have also been very kind and have provided excellent service and care to her.
While waiting for her appointment to the fracture clinic she presented several times to the Rockingham ED within a week as she was scared things were not right with her arm. Never once did they ever make her feel like she was bothering them. She was greeted each time with warmth and compassion and she just keeps saying to me how lovely everyone is as the Rockingham ED. I want to say thank you to you all for caring for her, making her feel safe and never a nuisance.
I believe you do amazing work in what is often, in my opinion, just taken for granted. Thank you.
