"First baby using Bunbury Midwife Group Practice"

The MGP was recommended to us by a friend and we’re incredibly grateful to have used them with our first baby. All of the midwives I met were lovely but my primary midwife Leanne really was a key player in my positive pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. Having a familiar face at appointments and someone to come with you to see other health professionals meant more to me than I could have realized beforehand. It was particularly helpful dealing with gestational diabetes and organising the education sessions and extra tests. 

Having Leanne and Anna helping my husband and I while we were using our hypnobirthing technique was exactly what we needed -people who knew us and how we wanted our birth experience to be. Their guidance helped me through my induction without pain medication and we welcomed our baby only 8 hours after being induced. I couldn’t have wished for a better birthday for my baby.

Having the home visits afterwards was incredibly helpful and just a lovely part of the day to look forward to. It was such a relief to know that they were coming to make sure all was okay, especially because we don’t have family living close by. We were so sad to finally say goodbye to our team but we hope very much to see them again with our next baby.
