"Positive birth program - a must for parents to be"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity Telehealth Service - WACHS South West

(as a service user),

My partner and I recently attended the Positive Birth Program with Kasey. In my opinion, what an incredibly informative course and presenter! Following the course we both feel better prepared for the birth of our baby, now having so much knowledge and tools at our disposal; Which is an empowering experience.

Being regional this course was provided to us for free which, I feel, is just amazing and something we are both incredibly grateful for. Especially considering, as I understand it, the more local Health Campus cancel their birthing program at the last minute due to, I believe, staff shortage.

Thank you MHedland for your lovely feedback around our WACHS Positive Birth Program - brought to you by Hypnobirthing Australia.

We strive to provide a quality service to the large area that WA Country Health Service covers. Therefore by making this program free it becomes accessible to most. We are currently the only health service in Australia that provides this program 100% free to women and their support partners. We also feel lucky!!

It really is fantastic that we can provide this comprehensive program to you from the comfort of your own home. More and more sites around WA Country Health Service are considering running the Positive Birth Program face to face which will have the additional benefit of having the telehealth service as a backup if for some reason they are unable to run the program.

I am confident the knowledge and the tools you have received during the program will help support your positive birth journey.

Warm Regards,

Kasey Biggar
