I wanted to say thank you to the staff of Fiona Stanley who attended me during a carcinoid crisis that arose during my radiation treatment recently. There was the team in the in-patients ward in radiotherapy who provided emergency treatment in bringing me through the initial drop in blood pressure, the emergency staff who took over from them when I was transferred to the ED. Jane, who was on duty that afternoon, and Bruce who wasn’t but just came to see me out of concern. Thanks.
Thanks of course to the ward staff who were kind and attentive.
