Having found the centre through what I felt was a maze entrance in the off street Hospital Road after checking in via an app in the main hospital entrance.
The covid net centre form filing area entrance was initially unmanned. I don't blame them because it was in the afternoon and there was no sun. Obviously, in my opinion, employee care is not high there. However when an assistant did arrive, I was handed a pen to complete details which I did.
Inside I was instructed to hold the form in a certain way so the assistant behind the desk could input the data correctly. I was advised to spell the surname as my writing was poor.
I would have thought instead of having three assistants mulling around the desk, one could actually complete the details as two other testing centres do, to avoid inaccurate transfer of data. Or even ask me to hold up my ID which I had on hand.
Once completed I went in to be tested and I felt instructions were mumbled and repeated as I hadn't responded quickly enough. I believe the nurse felt it necessary to push the swab right to into my throat as well as the inner nasal passage.
I have been tested twice before, neither was that intrusive. In my opinion, at least show interest in the assignment and perhaps more testing would occur.
