"My child's speech therapy school visits"

(as a parent/guardian),

We had the lovely Kaye visit our 5 yr old son once a week at School. I would attend these sessions the majority of the time. Kaye was lovely, energetic and encouraging. She brought his favourite games each week, and tailored his worksheets to things he was interested in, including his favourite animal the kangaroo 😊. My son looked forward to the appointment each week and his speech and writing has improved over the term. Many thanks for all the time and effort you put into these sessions Kaye. Hopefully, we can see you in another term this year.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story about your son’s speech therapy at school. Kaye is a highly valued member of our Allied Health team so we are delighted to hear that you and your son feel the same way.

Our allied health team work hard to tailor therapy programs so that they are meaningful and engaging for the children they work with. It is fantastic to hear that your son’s efforts during therapy have resulted in his speech and writing improving over the term.

It will be my pleasure to pass on your feedback to Kaye on her return from a much-deserved break.
