For my second pregnancy I went through the MG Program at KEMH. I found having consistency in the midwives I was meeting made my pregnancy journey more comfortable and smooth.
I mostly had a straight forward pregnancy but my baby was breach until 38 weeks. This was monitored closely and my options were discussed weeks before my due date. I was nervous about the process of an ECV but was given plenty of advice and support from my midwife group. This gave me the confidence to proceed with the daunting procedure. My midwife was present the day of the procedure, holding my hand and reminding me to breath through the process. The doctor successfully turned the baby which allowed me to have the natural labour that I had wanted.
