(as the patient),

I booked myself in at the breastfeeding centre at KEMH as I was having difficulty breastfeeding my 5-week old and suffered from mastitis as well. Emiko, our lactation consultant was amazing! She listened to all our concerns, assessed our daughter and provided fantastic advice on how to help with our issues.

As a first-time mum, I know very little about breastfeeding and felt very overwhelmed. Based on my experience, the support from the breastfeeding centre is incredible. This amazing resource can not be lost and we are so lucky to have these knowledgeable professionals to help us through this journey.

I am so pleased to hear that you were made to feel at ease and supported by our Lactation Consultants (LC) at the Breastfeeding Centre, in particular Emiko.

I am extremely proud of the passion and commitment that our LC's demonstrate to support new mothers to achieve positive outcomes.
