I recently had my midwifery appointment at 29 weeks. The midwife asked if I had the flu jab, and I said no. I felt the midwife pretty much demanded that I go and get it. After that, I believe the midwife didn’t want to touch me, they seemingly didn’t even want to take a sticker out of my midwifery book.
I’ve cut down with my smoking and my other midwives have said I’m doing great but this midwife only suggested that I need to stop. When I lay down on the bed I was told I’m measuring 31 weeks but I wasn’t told why. I don’t know if this is a good thing or bad.
I recall, the midwife asked where I’m giving birth and I said another hospital and they said oh why not here, and I said that’s not your business. I felt they were being really rude and like they didn’t want to touch me. The midwife made me feel really awful. I just don’t want other women to have to go through that if they don’t want to get the flu jab.
